Miroslav "Miro" Mitusina

B & M Precision, Inc. is owned by Miroslav "Miro" Mitusina, an immigrant from the Czech Republic.

Miro was born, raised, and educated in Czechoslovakia, and he lived under the communist system until he was 26 years old. Miro defected from Czechoslovakia via the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, and immigrated to the United States soon afterward.

He was determined to work hard and make something of himself. After arriving in the U.S. with $20 in his pocket, he worked two—sometimes even three—jobs at the same time. It took Miro 15 years to save enough money to start his own business.

In 1978, Miro and Joe Bowman started a two-man machine shop in Ruskin and called it B & M Precision, Inc. While Mr. Bowman retired many years ago, Miro remains the President and CEO.

Since the beginning, B & M has expanded several times. As of today, it has over 300 employees, with 2 buildings on 50 acres and 240,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

While we are happy with our progress thus far, we continually strive to develop new products to keep pace with today's technologies. B & M strives to provide the highest quality products to our customers at the minimum cost.
